Dubai, August 18, 2025 – Dr. Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director of Dubai Courts, has issued Decision No. (210) of 2025 to approve the Guideline for Estimating Experts’ Fees, now published on the Dubai Courts website. The guideline sets clear criteria for determining fees for experts providing technical and specialized support to judicial authorities, ensuring fairness, transparency, and consistency.

Key Criteria in the Guideline:

Expert classification and complexity of the assigned task.

Duration and quality of work performed.

Compliance with expertise practice standards.

Actual expenses and costs incurred for the assignment.

Up to AED 200,000        AED  5,000 – 10,000

200,001 – 1,000,000     AED 10,000 – 30,000

1,000,001 – 5,000,000 AED 30,000 – 50,000

5,000,001 – 25,000,000AED 50,000 – 100,000

25,000,001 – 125,000,000 AED 100,000 – 200,000

125,000,001 – 625,000,000AED  200,000 – 500,000

 Over 625,000,000        AED 500,000 – 1,500,000

Expert Committees & Expertise Firms’ Fees:

The Experts Affairs Committee will periodically review the guideline and propose amendments to the Director. The decision comes into effect 15 days after its publication.

This initiative strengthens governance in judicial expertise practices, enhances the accuracy and effectiveness of rulings, and ensures transparency and confidence in Dubai’s judicial system.
